Five Things We Must Do To Save America


Get off the Party Band Wagon- Your party will not save you. They’re all bought and paid for. Each party has its good points and bad points and everyone needs to understand that. This stand by your party business has to stop.

End the Corruption- No one believes that you can ever eliminate corruption 100%. But our Federal, State & Local governments are overflowing with it. It’s time to hold those in government accountable. That means we may have to initiate term limits and start throwing folks in jail with hard labor and riot in the streets if we have to. It might be easier to have all of the lawyers disbarred.

Fix the Economy- We must tick off both all parties. Which sounds like fun. Bare with me this is a long list, so let’s get started. We must reinitiate regulations and import taxes to bring manufacturing jobs back to America and eliminate monopolies with rigged markets, this means taking on Wall Street and the Banksters, and yes the Federal Reserve must be audited and reeled in.  We must be pro-business but crony capitalism has to go (See my blog http://infowarsalaska.blogspot.com/2012/02/what-does-pro-business-mean.html).
We must reduce the size of government. We need to eliminate the bureaucratic waste; this can be done through privatization. The public employee union’s control of the government has to go. It makes no sense that a government secretary makes 30% more than her private sector counterpart.
We need to go to a nationwide sales tax and abandon property and income taxes. This is the only fair tax system. The only allowable loopholes in the sales tax system should be medical.
We can no longer afford to police the world or to be the Santa Claus of foreign aid.
As far as social programs go, there’re some we need and some we don’t. Of course the elderly and disabled deserve their Social Security and Medicare after all they paid into the system and some of these folks are veterans. So we need to stop calling benefits an entitlement, which sounds as if the government is giving you something. I wouldn’t trust Wall Street with a lemonade stand much less our Social Security and Medicare.
Able-bodied people need to stop depending on the government. It sickens me to see the elderly denied healthcare after working their whole life so that we can afford to take a single 25 yr. old who keeps having babies out of wedlock to the doctor. She should be working to fund Social Security and Medicare for her parents like her parents did for their parents. How dare anyone say that the elderly are robbing from their kids when it is the younger generation who doesn’t want to do their duty. And no doctor should be allowed to turn away a veteran on Medicare.
Healthcare certainly needs reform so that everyone can afford it. Everyone who gets medical care should pay something. The government can better stimulate the economy by giving incentives to the average American rather than large corporations who simply funnel the money into off shore banks or tax shelters. That’s what happened with the bankster bailout.

National Security- You can’t win a war and be political correct at the same time. Our military price tag should be for the defense of the country instead of making contractors rich. The borders must be secured because of the terrorist threat and the drug threat. Immigration preferences should be fair and made on ones desire to be a Patriotic American and not from their country of origin or how rich they are. Having the wrong folks immigrate for the wrong reasons is a security risk. Finally the Top Down Homeland Security model does not work we need a system that empowers localities from the bottom up which can work with the Feds. This is The Most Important- We need to get back to where we were. The only way is to go back to the moral standard, which has been forgotten. I know some of you don’t want to hear it but this nation was founded on the word of God. And all must admit that years ago children respected their parents. A handshake meant something. Greed and selfishness were frowned upon. If we can solve this one problem then all of the issues above will take care of themselves. The most important component of our nations survival is this, the service of others before self. During the great depression you had children running away from home so their younger brothers and sisters would have food. During WWII old men stood on the beach looking for the Japanese Navy. In the Revolutionary War farmers let their crops rot in the field to go fight for freedom. What was the saying " We pledge our lives and fortunes for this endeavor"
No political ideology, no piece of paper not even the Constitution or a checks and balances form of government or even a rich treasury will save us. It is our allegiance to the word of God, which makes us strong. We must turn away from our sins if we want to be saved. Otherwise we will be doomed to weakness and destruction. Outside of the second coming of the Messiah, America is the last great hope for the world. May God help us save her.

No You’re Not Crazy!
Years ago when someone told me anything that resembled a conspiracy theory or a doomsday scenario; I would label him or her a kook or a nut job. I used to say things like his bread aint done or his driveway doesn’t quite make it to the road. But then I remembered the Bible the books of Rev about the last days and what appears to be the rise of a world government. Throughout history we have always had elitists. But they have never had the tools at their disposal as they do today i.e. millions of cameras, computer networks, mass communications and oh let’s not forget the Federal Reserve banking System.
 If you are really open-minded it’s not too hard to connect the dots. Federal Reserve International Banking Cartel, at least that’s what Alex Jones calls them. Don’t get me wrong I don’t agree with Alex on everything. However, he does have a tendency to be able to back up what he is saying. Is it just a coincidence that JFK was murdered shortly after he talked about secret societies trying to take over?
 Look at some of the crazy things that our government is doing. The erosion of our civil liberties in the name of safety, yeah right. Look at how many executive orders violate the constitution. Oh and the trade deals that we get into. Can our government be this stupid? A nun could horse trade better. Almost looks like they’re trying to destroy America.
We know that today the risk of man-made and natural disasters are higher than ever. A solar EMP, which occurs more often than you think, could knock out the electrical grid for years. Welcome to the Dark Age. You don’t even what to think about man-made EMP. Like the little miniature nut job from Iran wouldn’t do it.
 Yet most of America and the world have their head in the sand. Most of them have only a few days of food and water in their homes. Yet they say we’re nuts because we think it makes more since to be supplied for a few months or even years than it does for a few days.  They think the world will stay the same. History has shown change is constant, nothing stays the same. 
Is it sane to believe lie such as your political party or the government will save you? How many times have you heard, don’t worry they won’t let it happen? I’m sure the folks in New Orleans heard that many times.  To me it makes more sense to be prepared. You may even be able to help the government save all those folks that called me and you crazy.

I think history proves the answer is yes. The only reason any government initiates gun control is either out of ignorance of history or the desire to repeat history. There is simply no other explanation. The right to bare arms isn’t about hunting or collecting it’s about enabling the people to defend themselves against tyrants.

Constitution-Should We Ever Violate It?
The Constitution is the supreme law of the land, for it’s the corner stone of our free republic. The Constitution establishes the rule of law, which we are governend by. Today there seems to be two separate views; one considers the Constitution to be etched in stone, while the other considers it to be a flexible ever-changing document. One must admit that over the last century we’ve seen gross constitutional violations that in no way appear to help preserve the free republic. In fact some verge on the tyrannical. My God in some locals you can’t even operate a lemon aid stand. Yet on the other hand some argue that bending the rules a bit helped America.
FDR and Reagan both violated the Constitution. FDR established the new deal, broke up the cooperate cartels and created anti trust laws. The result was a booming economy for decades. That’s pretty hard to dispute. Many say that if FDR had done things differently America would have collapsed, that we would have lost WWII or that we would have succumbed to tyranny.
When Reagan took office America was more vunerable to the Soviet threat than ever. He took the bull by the horns and did what he had to do. Reagan’s policies certainly helped defeat the Soviet Union. Many agree that Reagan saved us from the Evil Empire and WWIII. Any true red-blooded American has to admit that the Soviet Union was an Evil Empire bent on world domination.
As far as the Constitution goes, I for one don’t know what the answer is. I know this; you get into trouble with absolutes. At the same time you must preserve the rule of law, which the Constitution provides. Either road must be taken with extreme caution, and must always be questioned.
Perhaps the answer is to Remember the Mission, which is to Preserve the Free Republic called the United States of America. If we can keep our eye on the mission maybe we can accomplish it. This is hard to do given that the American people are distracted by party platforms and day-to-day life. It seems that we are more concerned about our kid’s school event than what’s best for the country. I for one am grateful for the sacrifices of the fallen.  It is our duty to remember the mission of preserving liberty.
Although the Constitution provides a vital role, the real key to preserving the republic is the desire for Freedom by the American people. We would do wise to remember words of Patrick Henry.

Carol Comeau-She Never Saw a Bond She didn’t Like. Under Carol Comeau's administration Anchorage Residents saw spending increase year after year, yet very little return for their dollar. Granted things are higher in Alaska. The private sector is about 35% more on average. However, government appears to be 2.5 times the national average and the Anchorage School district is no different. Across the lower forty-eight many schools spend only a fraction of what Anchorage does. Yet they’re doing a better job. You see Carol like so many bureaucrats love free market competition when it benefits them. However, Carol always protected her turf. She doesn’t want to compete. She doesn’t believe in vouchers. In other words she doesn’t think parents should have a choice. Forget about that Constitution and Freedom thing.

Anchorage certainly needs a new way of thinking in terms of education. The spirit of competition needs to prevail. Perhaps if Carol had spent more time in the private sector she might understand competition a little more. Perhaps she might understand the huge burdens excessive spending puts on the economy. But hey NEA members never understand.  I’ve often heard that she is a nice lady. I’m sorry nice just isn’t good enough. Anchorage residents work hard for their money and deserve better and the only way they’re going to get it is this is to fill the school board and the superintendent positions with folks from the private sector instead of the NEA sector.

Being Anti-Government isn’t the Answer. But neither is the Orwellian State.

Being anti-government isn’t the answer.  But neither is the Orwellian State. We can take the best from the republicans, democrats and libertarians and dump the worst.  The trouble is that the republicans think de-regulation and less government (unless it benefits the rich) is the solution to all problems. The democrats think that more government and more regs are the answer. The libertarians would have America breakup into 50 banana republics. The solution is to forget the party platform and do what’s best for America.

Always remember the mission, which is to preserve the free republic. In order to do this we are going piss off every political party. Face it, we need a sheriff. The sheriff being the government. The question is how much power and money do you give the sheriff? Give the sheriff to much power and you wake up in the Orwellian state, give to little and you have anarchy with the elite thugs running the country. But if we can keep our eye on the mission and forget about the party platform then we might just balance this equation. May God help us if we can’t?

EMP- It’s Inevitable Get Prepared Now


EMP- It’s Inevitable Get Prepared Now-You wake up in the morning just as you would on any morning but this morning is different. The power is out; the day isn’t starting as well as you had hoped. You get ready for work the best you can. But you won’t be going to work today. You car won’t start. The land line phone is dead. You cell phone doesn’t work either.  You wonder what’s going on so you break out your portable radio to get any news, only to find that it’s dead as well.

What I just described was probably the worst-case scenario of an electromagnetic pulse or (EMP). An EMP is simply an electromagnetic wave of energy, which can either be man made or from a solar flare. Although there are other sources of EMP the solar and made are the ones to most concerned about.

Man made EMP is the most severe; a nuclear bomb exploding in the upper atmosphere would generate this. A solar flare would probably only knock out the power grid leaving most electronics unaffected but not guaranteed.  The grid may be down for years. A man-made EMP would knock out most of the electronics as well as the grid. In the old days we used vacuum tubes which were more resistant to EMP. However, today’s electronics are super miniaturized solid state and much more susceptible to EMP. Solar or man, localized or not, unless it is extremely local, the effects would be disastrous.

It is inevitable. Don’t think it’s likely, solar EMPs are common about every century or so. Areas near the poles like where I live in Alaska are even more susceptible. We’ve known about EMP for decades yet the government and the utility companies are ill prepared to say the least and the general public isn’t prepared at all. In many cases the preparation is inexpensive.

Preparation for EMP
Communications- You need to know how bad things have really gotten. Build a Faraday Cage and store portable radios and other electronics inside. I’ll get into the construction of a Faraday cage latter. Buy short-wave receiver radio. The inexpensive models with a hand crank aren’t bad but have a limited range. The more expensive ones can pickup around the world. The NOAA weather radios can provide emergency info as well. Ham radio operators are indispensable in a crisis like this and most of these guys would have shielded their equipment in a Faraday Cage.
Food, medicine and water- Be prepared to go a very long time. I have several water containers. I also store milk jugs of water in the freezer, this will not only help preserve food in the event of a power outage it will provide drinking water not to mention you’re the frozen milk jugs can save on electricity which is especially important if you have to use a generator. Oh and buy a generator and remember to shield it.
Personal Protection- If the grid goes down it will not be long before looters take to the streets. Most Americans only have a few days of food supply in their homes. Besides having guns and ammo if you are in a large urban area and you have a place to go in the country then go. However, this may be hard to do since the gas pumps are out and many roads may be blocked with dead vehicles. Try to join forces with your neighbors. There is strength in numbers. But be prepared to bug out. Keep a few bug out bags ready.
 Transportation-Store gasoline. Bicycles are immune to EMP. Also buy an older four-wheeler or motorcycle. These have less electronics and are easy to shield via a Faraday Cage.
Building a Faraday Cage- A Faraday Cage is simply a box that you put your electronics in and surround with a conductive material such as sheet metal. In the event of an EMP the induced electricity is routed around the sheet metal instead of protected the electronics inside the cage. The electronics inside the cage should be insulated from the sheet metal. I use plastic bags or cardboard. Also any power cords to the electronics should also be placed inside the box. Some people use wire mesh instead of sheet metal. However, depending on the frequency of the pulse the mesh may not be small enough. An example of a Faraday Cage is a microwave oven. The mesh on the front door is very small to keep the microwaves inside. However, some waves do escape via the cracks around the door. So when you build your cage seal up all cracks. If you are like me and you have a tendency to procrastinate do what I did. I simply put my radio inside a shoebox wrapped in aluminum foil. The thicker the foil the better. With proper sealing an old filing cabinet or aluminum garbage can will work. To test your cage simply put a portable battery powered radio inside and turn it on. When you close the door, the reception should stop.

Alaskans Are Being Gouged

 
It's the shipping they say; at least that's what most say. Businesses on average are about 30% more than the lower forty-eight. So why then does government spend on average 150% more?
Per my representative, Alaska DOT has about three thousand employees but we can't get the roads plowed. Just look at the school districts, Carol Comeau never saw a bond she didn't like. The people of Anchorage should put Carol on a plane and send her to the lower forty-eight where the schools are spending allot less and maybe she would learn something. Let’s face it; if you’re a deadbeat, Alaska is one of the best states to live in. We have a huge social service industry up here. But hey it’s ok as long as the Feds or the oil companies are paying for it. Folks this has to stop. The pork ride is almost over.

Businesses aren't blameless either. Personally I feel that most business are charging a fair price. I said most not all, especially in regards to gas and utility prices. When you have monopolies or crony capitalism (in that many local business lobby to keep out competition) price gouging is what you get.

We could all get a fairer deal if we just pulled together and maybe save this state in the process. I do love Alaska and I have met to many people up here that are considering moving because they’re better off economically somewhere else. What's sad is that many of these folks are the Sourdoughs who built this state.
